Richard Swedberg

Richard Swedberg is a professor of sociology and one of the leading theorists of sociological approaches to entrepreneurship. He wrote the first biography of Joseph Schumpeter, an influential economist in the 20th century. Swedberg also coedited a collection of Schumpeter’s letters. Swedberg is the editor of a popular anthology on entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship: The Social Science View.  His book, The Art of Social Theory, was published in 2014.
