Rao Jing

rao jingRao Jing is a visiting scholar from the College of Humanities and Development Studies at China Agricultural University in Beijing, China. She specializes in rural politics. She has taught an introductory political science course to undergraduates and a graduate level course in rural organizations and management at China Agricultural University. Her publications in Chinese include articles in the China Agricultural University Journal of Sciences, Journal of Agrotrechnical Economcis, and China Land Science. Her research focuses on a comparative analysis between China’s and global land grabs; the roles that private enterprise, central and local governments, and rural residents play during land grabs; and an analysis of China’s land tenure system.
