Anna Haskins

Anna Haskins assesses the effects of parental incarceration on children’s educational outcomes. An assistant professor in sociology within the College of Arts and Sciences, she probes into the persistence of racial and gendered disparities and the role these inequities play in the transmission of inequality or opportunity from one generation to the next. Her work has been featured in Social Science Research, Sociological Sciences, Sociology of Education, and the Washington Post, among other publications.
