New Group to Study AI’s Impact on Decision-Making

A group of researchers at Cornell’s Ithaca and New York City campuses have formed the Artificial Intelligence, Policy, and Practice Initiative, which aims to create collaborative research opportunities between scholars in computing, law, social science, communications, and philosophy. Karen Levy, one of ISS’ 2018-2019 faculty fellows, and Solon Barocas, project member of the ISS Algorithms project, are two of the four researchers who formed the group.
